Na-K-Sb-Cs (S-20)
Description
This photocathode is also known as S-20. It is a popular choice for photomultiplier tubes and in particular those used in broad-band spectrometers due to its wide spectral response. An extended response version of the photocathode (sometimes called S-25) can be prepared using a special activation technique. In this case, the photocathode's response can go all the way up to 930 nm.
